- While the famous battlefields of the Gallipoli Peninsula now lie quiet, in 1915 this rugged landscape provided the backdrop to untold heroism, endurance and sacrifice. Visit the battle scarred peninsula of Gallipoli on this exceptional 6 day pilgrimage tour and be present at the laying of the foundation stone for the new Memorial to the 10th (Irish) Division at Chocolate Hill. Visit the battlefields of the Helles, ANZAC and Suvla Bay Sectors where over 4,000 Irishmen fought and died on this remarkable trail of remembrance. While in Turkey also visit the ancient site of Troy as well as the magical city of Istanbul.
