The month of April 2010 will be the 40th Anniversary of the formation of the Ulster Defence Regiment and the 40th Anniversary of the disbanding of the Ulster Special Constabulary and to commemorate both these events, along with our comrades of the former Ulster Special Constabulary, the Group will be hosting a Regimental Dinner with Regimental Piper, Lambeg Drum Display and Irish Ceilidh band. Capacity for the evening, that is expected to finish at 01.00hrs, is 120 persons.

Guest speaker is Maj. (Ret) Wallace Clark UDR, author of "Guns in Ulster" and "Brave men and true". Maj. Wallace served as District Commander of the USC in South Derry and later as Company Commander of "F" Company, 5 UDR in Maghera.

In order that the celebrations can be enjoyed by as many people as possible we have provided two ways to attend.

A full ticket, for celebrations starting at 1930 hrs, that includes the three course Regimental Dinner and Guest Speaker, first pipers set and charity presentation; followed by "Bowstring" ceilaih band, second pipers' set, the Lambeg Drum Display and late buffet supper. Price per person is £50
