Veterens remembering the fallen at Islandbridge during the 1930s.

 

Tens of thousands of Irishmen were killed in France, Belgium, Greece, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Palestine and Transjordan during the First World War.

 

Annual Services were held during the 1920s and 30s to remember the fallen and we provide links below to Pathe News clips of these events.
